Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS):
Transcranial direct current stimulation is a painless form of non-invasive brain stimulation that uses a very small direct electrical current between two electrodes to stimulate specific parts of the brain, which modulates brain function. It is typically not felt by the client. tDCS has been proven effective for the treatment of depression, anxiety, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic pain. In our clinics, tDCS is used to induce greater functionality in patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
Please note that while TMS therapy is offered at all of our Centers, tDCS treatment offerings do vary from center to center. We recommend you visit the specific TheraMind Center location website to verify the specific treatment options available at your location of choice.
