The National Institute of Mental Health is currently recruiting participants for a clinical study to see if using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to guide repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) helps locate the best area for treatment and to explore [..]
Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS):
Transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) is a noninvasive and painless form of brain stimulation that uses a small alternating current of frequencies specific to client disorders. Similar to tDCS, it is typically not felt by the client. In our clinics this is often paired with other neuromodulatory techniques (such as pulsed 1electro-magnetic field therapy and neurofeedback) to entrain optimal results, resulting in improved behavior, mood, and perspective.
Please note that while TMS therapy is offered at all of our Centers, tACS treatment offerings do vary from center to center. We recommend you visit the specific TheraMind Center location website to verify the specific treatment options available at your location of choice.
