Transcranial magnetic stimulations (TMS) is featured in this month’s Oprah “O” Magazine titled, “A Twinge of Relief”. The article notes the 2008 FDA approval of TMS for mildly treatment-resistant depression and outlines standard treatment information by Dr. Stephen Taylor, MD [..]
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (pEMF):
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (pEMF) uses directed pulsed magnetic fields through the brain and body to deliver a low energy field, which leads to blood perfusion, as well as a “following response,” when given to the brain. The brain will respond to pEMF by copying the same frequencies delivered, aiding successful entrainment. The pEMF protocols used in our offices are crafted to address each client’s unique system and disposition, tailored in terms of frequency blends used, intensity, duration, and location. This modality is believed to stimulate cellular repair through the aid of increased blood flow. The FDA has approved several such stimulation devices, including all those used in our offices.
Please note that while TMS therapy is offered at all of our Centers, pEMF treatment offerings do vary from center to center. We recommend you visit the specific TheraMind Center location website to verify the specific treatment options available at your location of choice.
