Dr. Zayd Ratansi, N.D.
Dr. Zayd Ratansi is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with advanced certifications in hyperbaric medicine, bio-oxidative medicine, low level light therapy, chelation therapy and environmental medicine. Dr. Ratansi received his BSc from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Doctoral of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington in 1998. Dr. Ratansi currently works as the Medical Director and Naturopathic Physician for Wellness Without Limits, LLC in Florida and also holds an active license in California and Washington State as a Naturopathic Doctor.
Dr. Ratansi began his practice in 1998 where he served as the medical director for the first private multi-place hyperbaric oxygen chamber in Canada. For the next 6 year he oversaw and directed over 90,000 pressurized hyperbaric oxygenation treatments, and fine-tuned a one-month recovery program for some very debilitating conditions. During this time, he served for 7 years as the medical director at the HOC Health Centers in Canada and the United States.
Dr. Ratansi specializes in the treatment of brain injuries and other neurological conditions using hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Ratansi lectures worldwide on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and has played a leading role in implementing protocols on the use of hyperbaric therapy in the mainstream medical setting. He also has been extensively trained in Environmental Medicine and has helped implement safe detoxification and cleansing programs along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy within the spa industry helping to advance Medical Spas throughout the world.
Dr. Richter, a Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a L.C.P.C., is the owner of North Shore Counseling and Neuroscience Services, LLC. in Lake Bluff, IL. She completed her BS from Northwestern University in Human Development and Social Policy with a second major in Economics. She earned a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Clinical Health Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Chicago. Dr. Richter has twenty years experience working with individuals, couples, and groups in private and community-based mental health settings. Her areas of specialized interest include treating individuals with a history of trauma/PTSD, medical conditions such as chronic pain, mood disorders, ADHD, adolescent issues, and codependency. Specialized treatment modalities include CBT, DBT-informed treatment, EEG Neurofeedback, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Dr. Richter is a member of the Illinois Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Tiff Thompson
Dr. Tiff Thompson completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, graduating with honors in the Department of Communication. She continued in her graduate studies at the University of Maryland, earning a master’s degree in Communication with a specialty in Rhetoric. She pursued a second Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara and completed internships at New Beginnings Counseling Center, the Salvation Army, and Santa Barbara Brain Fitness in Santa Barbara, earning her marriage and family therapist license. She concurrently completed work in a Ventura neurology clinic, earning status as a Registered EEG Technician via the American Society of Electrodiagnostic Technicians. She earned her board certification in neurotherapy from the Biofeedback Accreditation International Alliance, as well as the status of Quantitative EEG Diplomate from the Quantitative EEG Certification Board. She completed her PhD at Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2016 and wrote her dissertation on the intersection of EEG and Depth Psychological theory. In 2016 she was certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy. She is a board member and past Executive Director of the Western Association of Biofeedback and Neuroscience, as well as a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Clinical TMS Society, and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research.
Erika Winston, MEd, LMT
Erika Winston, LMT, was originally trained as a professional tennis player and always had this fascination with alignment and the flow of energy. She received her license in Massage Therapy in 2006 and then, continued on with advanced trainings to further her knowledge and skill in Orthopedic massage, CranioSacral Therapy and Sports Massage. She obtained her Reiki Master level in 2007 and considers this modality a type of ‘energy medicine’.
Erika recently extended her skills into Structural Integration following the teachings of Tom Myers. In Structural Integration the focus is on realignment and reorganization of the body as a whole system. Mr. Meyers refers to this modality as ‘Spatial Medicine’. Erika graduated from the KMI (Kinesis Myofascial Integration) program in 2013 and experienced a profound shift in her own structural alignment and consciousness. She knew that this method of healing could be a significant opportunity to help clients with chronic pain, habitual pain patterns, postural issues, rebalancing energy and injuries. Every session is designed and structured specifically for the client’s need. Essentially, the KMI process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, thus enhancing postural efficiency, freedom/ease of movement and energetic balance.
Erika also worked with professional athletes at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) international tournaments and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team training camps. She also enriches her knowledge and depth of skill by taking advanced continuing education courses and workshops.
Erika’s vision is to help facilitate healing and increase awareness by addressing the divine alignment of the client. She respects and honors the expansion, consciousness and connection that evolves from bodywork.
